Laser Lowdown, the All Things Laser podcast

Welcome to Laser Lowdown, the All Things Laser podcast, with your host Louie Alvarez.

A podcast is the automatic delivery of media (audio, video, PDF, etc) called rss feeds. A podcatcher (like iTunes, Google Reader, Juice, Bloglines, etc.) subscribes to the feed just like you would subscribe to a blog, and delivers the media directly to your computer to play back on your media player of choice. add to my PodNova Blubrry player!

  1. Well thank you very much Dan. My radio show voice came back to me after about 9 years off air, thank goodness :) I am definitely interested in your procedure, give me some details and I can incorporate it into an article, a podcast or a tutorial. Thanks for the site compliment, been working non-stop for about 2½ weeks, forgoing the gym, staying at it till as late as 4:30 in the morning to get ready for the ARA show, my grand opening/release.

BTW you going to make ARA? Coming up soon.

Well, after listening to one of your podcasts, I have to tell you…

You voice is very easy to listen to. That’s a gift!

I have a procedure for determining where one needs to set the table in order to obtain the correct focal distance if you’re interested in it. I developed it about a week after I got the GX and I think it works great. I had to move the table from what the manufacturer had it set, (you kow me… I can’t leave things alone), but I did so only after calling them and confirming that the focal point is supposed to be located exactly on the material’s surface and not within the material anywhere.

    Awsome site dude!
