World of Concrete 2009

WOC is the industry’s only annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries with 1,700+ leading industry suppliers in more than 900,000 net square feet of exhibits featuring innovative products, technologies, tools and equipment to give you new ways to sustain and grow your business.

I attended this show to visit my friends from Vytek at their booth in the South Hall, looking at the photos you can tell the economy is making a major impact on the show attendance. I heard claims that 80,000 people pre-registered for the show with WOC staff claiming a decent turnout of 50,000 were in attendance, from my perspective and the following images can attest to that cannot possibly be true. I would guesstimate from my day there (3rd day, Thursday) and walking through the South & North halls that attendance was probably around 20,000. A testament to the declining economy.
